Note: For details about how to deploy VCC Live Pay, see Introduction to VCC Live Pay.
In this lesson, you will learn:
- How to add VCC Live Pay IVR to your IVR
1. Adding the Required VCC Live Pay IVR Inbound Processes to Your IVR
You can add new processes to your IVR, that will enable your IVR to take care of the payment process.
- Select a procest from the project list, then select Channels > Voice > Inbound.
- Add 3 Payment data request processes to your inbound workflow. They will enable your client to enter their payment details (card number, expiration date, CVC) using their phone keypad.
- In the Set variable field, define a variable that will be used by the system to represent the payment process result sent back by the payment gateway. For example, enter $cardnumber, $expiration_date, or $cvc.
- In the Waiting for DTMF (sec) field, set how long the system should wait for the user to enter their card details.
- Now let’s add the Send payment request process. It will initiate the payment verification via the payment gateway of your choice.
- In the Set variable field, define a variable that will be used by the system to represent the payment process result sent back by the payment gateway. Possible values: ok, nok, timeout
- In the Response code variable field, define a variable that will be used by the system to receive an exact response code from the payment gateway.
- In the Waiting for DTMF (sec) field, set how long the system should wait for the user to enter their card details.
- The validation may take a while, so you can also add a path to a hold-on-music or message in the Sound file for periodic playback field.
- In the Pause interval (sec) field, define how long the pause interval should be between the repeated sound files.
If all data is correct, the payment will occur.
1.1 Additional Notes
- Make sure your clients must authenticate themselves before the payment process begins.
- Before each Payment data request process, it is recommended to inform users of the next step required using a Playback process.
- It is recommended to inform users where each data can be found on the card, for example, the location of the card number.
Congratulations!
