System Engineer

As a System Engineer, our team’s mission is to ensure the infrastructure for reliability and performance. There are servers around the globe in a complex system, integrated with an exciting Linux based in-house VoIP solution and we serve several customers from all over the world with it.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Design, architects, and leads the implementation of new IT infrastructure projects (servers, networks, security).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve major technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Define the strategy for system monitoring, automation, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Mentors junior and medior team members.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Understanding of monitoring tools like Zabbix and Prometheus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.
  • A positive and collaborative mindset.
  • Open to learn new technologies like WebRTC and VoIP technologies (e.g., Freeswitch, Kamailio, RTPengine, network solutions and security hardening).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms like KVM, LXD/LXC, and Docker Swarm.
